About Us
Andy Charron began his career in the wood products industry in 1989 as co-owner of a custom furniture shop located in Red Bank, New Jersey. Four years later he left the custom market to focus on manufacturing parts for other businesses. He began Charron Wood Products Inc. with a $2,000 investment in tools, shop space in a one-car garage, and a goal of one day becoming a leading manufacturer of wooden component parts for business and industry. In 1997 Andy relocated the company from New Jersey to a former Goodyear manufacturing complex in Windsor, Vermont. Located along the Connecticut River in the heart of the "Precision Valley", Windsor is known as the birthplace of precision manufacturing.
Since the move to Windsor, Charron Wood Products Inc. has continued to grow and today we ship our products throughout the entire United States and parts of Canada.
In addition to owning and operating Charron Wood Products Inc, Andy Charron is a nationally known author who has written numerous articles and books on woodworking-related topics, including Spray Finishing and Water-Based Finishes.
